Lal Shaplar State Barisal Satlar Shaplar Bill (Water lilie)

Lal Shaplar State Barisal Satlar Shaplar Bill (Water lilie)

In the morning, standing on the road next to the bill, as far as the eye can see, the red water lily is spreading its beauty on the green leaves in the black water of the bill. It is like a wonder of nature, the crimson glow amid the green calls out to its glory. By the force of luck, white and purple flowers can be found in the midst of it. However, due to the abundance of red water lilies, Bagdha of Barisal's Agailjhara Upazila and Satlar of Uzirpur Upazila is known as 'Lal Shapla's Bill' (Red water lilie).

Normally in Asadha month, the entire bill area is filled with water, towards Bhadra month the leaves and vines of Shapla start to grow naturally. And towards the end of Shravana, the flowers start to bloom. By the middle of Ashwin, as the size of the Shapla flower increases, the entire bill area becomes a single red Shapla. During the rainy season, especially from the end of August to October and November, including public holidays, there is a rush of tourists from the morning of the bird calls to this red Chapala, seven days a week. Some are coming with friends, some with family or relatives. They are enjoying themselves by floating the boat in the billed water.

If you want to enjoy the natural beauty of Shapler Bill, you have to be here early in the morning. Because as soon as the sun rises, the Shapla flower starts showing itself. And when the sun is bright, it slowly wraps itself. The red color of Shapla combined with the red glow spreading in the eastern sky during the sunrise creates a wonderful color in nature. The beauty of this bill cannot be expressed in words when the rays spread across the entire eastern sky on a misty morning. It is very nice to go on a boat on this noise-free bill. It is a good place to walk around to breathe fresh air. Not only the mollusks can be seen but also a part of the aquatic plants can be seen under the clear water. Along with that, the scene of fishermen catching fish in the water of the bill, collecting food for various birds including bucks, running, and collecting the honey of bees will also be seen. While moving around in the boat on the shape bill, some are picking up the shape and tying the dough, while some of the women are tying themselves with nature by twisting the shape vine on their heads.

No matter how much a naturally-born bee is picked, it grows. However, due to various reasons including fishing, not all parts of the bill are equally affected every time.
