The eye-catching Hamham waterfall has increased the tourism status of Kamalganj. The waterfall has become another tourist attraction of the upazila.

Tea garden in Champara on the west side of Kurma Bonbit area of 7 thousand 970 acres of Rajakandi range included in Islampur union, about 30 km east-south from Kamalganj upazila headquarters. From Kamalganj Upazila Chaumuhna Chattar to Kurma Checkpost, 25 km paved road can be reached by local bus/jeep/microbus, but the rest of the way has to be done on foot in hilly areas. Walking on this road, you will see the wonderful view of tea gardens. However, if you do it by motorcycle or CNG, you can go to Tailangbari, a remote hilly area surrounded by forests of Kurma Ban Bit, the village of Tripura tribals and bordering 4 to 5 kilometers further. From there the distance to the main waterfall is 8 km. If you want to go there, it is better to take the help of the tribals of Tailangbari or Kalaban Basti. Trekking on hilly winding, slippery and narrow paths has to be done very carefully. Bamboo sticks are used to maintain balance while trekking. On the way, you have to cross a big hill named Makam. Bird and butterfly fairs will be held in the lined branches of jarul, chikrashi and kadam trees, and countless spectacled monkeys will be seen in the fig trees and cane gardens. I have to cross the inaccessible mountain narrow path. You have to walk a long way along the mountain ridge. Somewhere knee or waist water. The sound of the waterfall can be heard from half a kilometer away. In the dry season, the water in the fountain is low, in the monsoon, the Hum Hum waterfall gets a new life.
